Em exibição em #Berlim, no culterim_spaces — Culterim | Spaces | Rossmann, de 20 a 25 de março de 2026.
Apresento duas obras que integram a instalação total Small Laboratory to Recreate Humans.
Not Enough, 2025
Body is an Archive as Steam Engine, 2025

I present two works that are part of the total installation Small Laboratory to Recreate Humans.
Not Enough, 2025
Full HD digital file, archival and original footage, edited from real testimonies, 5:18
Not Enough brings together images by the artist and archival material, including sources such as the Internet Archive, structured through real testimonies collected for the installation Small Laboratory to Recreate Humans (2025). The film reflects on time as a human construct—situated between memory, urgency, and technological acceleration—culminating in a persistent contemporary condition: time is never enough.
Body is an Archive as Steam Engine, 2025
Full HD digital file, archival and original footage, 2:36
Body is an Archive as Steam Engine is a visual poem in which human and mechanical worlds merge in silence. Drawing from the song Acabou a Luz (Solsaio, 2003, Brazil), narrated by Carlos A. Correia, the film juxtaposes 19 nude bodies—anonymous and filmed from behind—with archival imagery in a contemplative flow. The work reflects on memory, finitude, and the body as archive.
Regarding the exhibition, I share the text from Culterim Spaces Rossmann: The exhibition “Death? Yes/No/Maybe” explores humanity’s relentless pursuit of immortality through the intersection of contemporary art, scientific research, and speculative practice. Bringing together visual artworks, live performances, immersive environments, and participatory experiences, the exhibition examines how the desire to transcend biological limits is reshaping culture, identity, and the future of the human body.
